The MiniFreak V 5.0 update, released in September 2026, introduces three main improvements.

Custom sample import: Import your own WAV, AIFF, and FLAC audio files up to 6 seconds long for sample-based and granular sound design.
Custom wavetable import: Load your own mono wavetables, including compatible wavetables from Arturia Pigments.
23 new presets: Explore a new factory bank featuring sounds built with the new sample and wavetable content.
