It is engineered to create musical effects that inject energy, clean up complex chains, and add a signature rhythmic stutter or pump without requiring complex, frame-by-frame manual automation drawing.

The Mechanism of Instant Reset

The core challenge in complex digital mixing is resetting an effect parameter (like the rate of a Flanger, the depth of a Reverb, or the release time of a Compressor) precisely at the start of a musical beat or phrase. Manual automation often leads to subtle timing errors.

Snapback solves this using a dedicated, tempo-synced trigger mechanism:

• Snapback Triggers: The plugin uses a customizable, internal step sequencer or a simple tempo-grid display to define the exact moment in the measure (e.g., every quarter note, every 16th note, or on the downbeat of the bar) when a connected parameter must instantly reset to a defined default value.

• The Destination Point: The user defines the "snapback" position. This can be 0%, 50%, or any custom value.
