Final Factory is an intricate factory-building and strategy simulation game developed by Never Games Limited. Launched in Early Access in April 2024, the game takes the complex automation loop popularized by titles like Factorio and transports it to an infinite, procedurally generated cosmos. It blends traditional production chain design with elements of spaceship building, exploration, and fleet combat.

Core Gameplay: Modular Space Stations

The game's primary innovation is the concept of modular space stations. Unlike ground-based factory games that focus on belt logistics, Final Factory revolves around designing efficient, self-contained production grids floating in space:

• Station Constraints: Every station must manage several critical resources and mechanical constraints: Power (consumed by most structures), Heat (generated by certain processes that must be dissipated by radiators), and Stability (lowered by structures, requiring specialized cores and struts to increase the cap). These constraints force players to design compact, highly efficient, and carefully balanced station modules.

• Logistics Network: As the factory scales, players must build and coordinate a network of independent space stations, connecting them using various logistical units. Cargo Haulers and Logistics Drones move specific resources between these modules, requiring strategic placement and planning across the void.

• Research Progression: All advancement is fueled by an extensive Tech Tree. Players must automate the production of increasingly complex Research resources to unlock new items, recipes, massive structures like Dyson Spheres, and advanced space vessels.

Exploration and Fleet Command

Final Factory integrates exploration and combat into its automation loop:

• Infinite Cosmos: The player pilots their command ship through an infinite map filled with asteroids (resources), planets, black holes, and the ruins of the ancient Luminae civilization. Exploration is rewarded with Artifacts and fast-travel Portals that feed back into factory efficiency.

• Automated Combat: The local alien life (Vek) is hostile and attacks the growing factory. Players must automate the production of a massive fleet of combat drones and battleships. The player commands this fleet to defend their stations and clear out enemy spawners.

• Ship Design: A unique feature allows players to custom-design mobile space stations and ships by slapping a Rocket onto any structure. This includes building massive battleships that house their own internal fleets or specialized exploration vessels.

The game offers a challenging, multi-layered strategy experience, focusing on the sophisticated puzzle of orbital factory management and large-scale, automated warfare.
