• One-Hit Kill: Both the protagonist and most enemies die in a single hit. This creates intense, puzzle-like encounters where mistakes are fatal, forcing the player to plan out the entire sequence before executing.

• Time Slow: The core mechanic allows the player to slow down time to a crawl. This is essential for dodging bullets, weaving through laser grids, and precisely deflecting projectiles back at enemies. This ability is limited by a meter that recharges over time.

• The "Replay" Trick: Since the protagonist is a Chronos user, his missions are framed as predicting the future. When the player dies, the screen cuts to "NO, THAT WON'T WORK," and the player instantly restarts the section. When the player finally succeeds, the game plays the entire sequence in real-time without interruption, presenting it as the perfect, flawless execution the assassin "foresaw." This clever mechanic mitigates the frustration of trial-and-error gameplay.

• Environmental Interaction: The player can use the environment to their advantage, throwing objects, kicking open doors to stun enemies, and utilizing smoke bombs for stealth, adding variety to the sword combat.
