Developed by Walaber Entertainment LLC, the game takes a brilliant, absurd concept—rally racing repurposed within the chaotic, multi-story structure of urban parking garages—and turns it into a challenging, high-octane time trial experience.

The game is a hybrid of Rally and Circuit racing. While races consist of multiple laps around the same winding course (the "Circuit" aspect), it draws on the Rally format by pitting the single player against the clock and rival ghost cars rather than physical opponents. The tracks themselves are anything but typical, featuring jumps, ramps, dynamic obstacles like falling debris or snowplows, and the ever-present hazard of concrete barriers and hairpin turns.

The Mechanics of Momentum

PGRC features simple, arcade-style controls, making it easy to pick up, but its driving mechanics demand precision. The key to shaving seconds off the clock lies in mastering the drifting and boosting system. Instead of simply braking for a tight corner, players must intentionally execute a long drift. Successful, sustained drifting charges a boost meter, which is automatically deployed upon exiting the slide. Chaining these power-drifts together is essential to maintain speed and achieve the necessary velocity to beat the gold-level ghost times.

This central mechanic creates a challenging rhythm: you must know exactly when to enter a drift, how long to hold it through the turn, and where to deploy the resulting speed boost, all while navigating the narrow, obstacle-laden environment of a parking structure. Vehicles, which are unlocked across three weight classes (Light, Heavy, and Ultra), handle distinctly, requiring players to adapt their drifting line for each car.
