Planet Nomads is an open-world, sci-fi sandbox survival game developed by Craneballs and released in 2017 (after a period in Early Access). The game focuses heavily on exploration, creative construction, and surviving a harsh, alien environment. The premise is straightforward: the player is an astronaut who crash-lands alone on a visually stunning, procedurally generated alien planet during a routine exploration mission. The player’s main objective is simple yet challenging: survive and eventually escape.
