Selective File Extraction and Reinstallation

• Recovery: If a single system application (like Preview, Calculator, or Safari) or a crucial system file becomes corrupted or is accidentally deleted, you can use Pacifist to open the original macOS installer package and extract and reinstall only that single damaged file, without the massive hassle of reinstalling the entire operating system.

• Custom Installation: It allows you to extract files from packages and place them wherever you want, instead of relying on the package's predefined installation script.

Security and Auditing
