Diablo II: Resurrected (D2R) is the definitive remaster of the iconic action RPG Diablo II and its expansion Lord of Destruction. Developed by Blizzard Entertainment and Vicarious Visions (now part of Blizzard Entertainment), the game was released on September 23, 2021, for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. It successfully modernizes the classic game's visuals and quality-of-life features while preserving its famously deep mechanics, dark atmosphere, and brutal difficulty.

A Modern Coat for a Classic Game

The core appeal of D2R lies in its visual overhaul. The game was rebuilt entirely in a modern 3D graphics engine, supporting up to 4K resolution and dynamic lighting effects.
