Dungeon Reborn is a free-to-play RPG dungeon crawler developed and published by PixelPulse Studio, with its full release arriving on July 16, 2025 (following an Early Access period). Built with the RPGMaker Engine, the game successfully blends classic top-down, turn-based strategy mechanics with modern action RPG progression systems, all centered around a singular, massive, perpetually dangerous structure.

The World and the Tower

The narrative establishes a classic dark fantasy setting: after a thousand years of peace, a colossal, ominous Tower erupted from the earth, unleashing hordes of monstrous creatures that devastated the world. In response, a specialized elite order—the Hunter Guild—was formed to push back the darkness. The player steps into the role of a new hero, chosen to ascend the cursed Tower and confront the ancient evil lurking in its highest chambers.

The core motivation is both containment and conquest: the hero must push back the monster threat and gather the resources needed to continue the endless, dangerous ascent. The central challenge is that the tower constantly regenerates; even defeated foes return stronger if left unchecked, creating a persistent, escalating threat.

Gameplay: Crafting, Combat, and Progression

• Strategic Dungeon Crawling: The exploration and combat take place within the Tower's treacherous, procedurally generated floors. Combat is turn-based, requiring careful strategic thinking in positioning, skill usage, and party management (though it is primarily a solo RPG experience). Players must discover and utilize the unique vulnerabilities of various monster types.

• The Headquarters (HQ) and Crafting: Between expeditions into the Tower, the player returns to their personalized Guild Base or Headquarters. This hub is vital for meta-progression. Players use scavenged resources (including unique drops like Goblin and Bee resources) to construct specialized crafting benches, refine materials, and forge new weapons, resilient armor, and life-saving potions. Mastering this intricate Crafting System is necessary to create the legendary equipment required to survive the higher floors.

• Class and Skill Development: The game features multiple combat archetypes or Classes for the player to unlock and master. Progression involves leveling up, discovering new combat Skills, and using resources to permanently enchant and enhance their abilities, transforming the character from a novice adventurer into a powerful, legendary force.

Nightmare Dungeons and Mysteries

Beyond the main ascent, the game offers specialized high-risk, high-reward activities: Nightmare Dungeons. These are twisted, corrupted realms separate from the main Tower that harbor unique horrors and promise exclusive, powerful rewards found nowhere else.
