Little Sim World is a cozy, 2D life simulation and RPG developed and published by .GRAVITY. It offers an open-world experience designed to capture the best elements of the life-sim genre, prioritizing player freedom, deep customization, and seamless exploration within a charming, London-inspired setting. The game entered Early Access on Steam on May 1, 2025.

Seamless Open World

A major distinguishing feature of Little Sim World is its completely open world without loading screens. The city, dubbed Little London, is the heart of the game and is available to explore in its entirety without transitions, making the experience feel continuous and immersive.

• Exploration: The city is bustling with life, featuring cars, NPCs, and shops at every turn. Players can visit various locations, such as Moon Cafe, Simon's Pub, the Museum, and the Library, each offering unique activities related to skills like Cooking, Fitness, or Knowledge.

• No Boundaries: The emphasis is on living life at your own pace, whether that means engaging in community favors found on Notice Boards or just finding a quiet park bench to watch life go by.

Character and Home Customization

Little Sim World offers an extremely high degree of personalization for both the character and their living space:

• Character Creation: Players design their avatar, or "Little," with numerous options for face, hairstyle, and personality traits. Over time, the character's persona can transform as new traits are unlocked. Clothing can be purchased and customized with a full color palette at boutiques and salons.

• Home Design: Players start in a small apartment and have substantial control over its layout. They can expand their plot, change the arrangement of furniture, and even bulldoze walls to experiment with any desired layout. Objects can be painted or upcycled at a workbench, promoting creativity and resourcefulness.

Needs and Progression

As an immersive life simulator, the game requires the player to manage their character’s basic needs and pursue long-term goals:

• Eight Needs Stats: The character's well-being is tied to managing eight different stats, including Health, Happiness, Comfort, and Bladder. Every activity, from crafting to working out, affects these needs in unique ways, demanding careful daily planning.

• Relationships: The city is filled with quirky locals, each with their own stories and backstories (like a melancholic boat captain or an ambitious barista). Players can meet new people, form friendships, and pursue romance, deepening their connection to Little London.

• Skills and Careers: The game features various activities like fishing, crafting, and cooking, which can be developed into core skills, paving the way for unique career paths and achievements.
