The premise is simple but compelling: you are a wizard participating in the Chaos Trials, a gauntlet of shifting dungeons designed to test your mastery over the elements. To earn the title of "Wizard of Legend," you must defeat three powerful Council Members representing Fire, Earth, and Water, before ultimately facing the master of Chaos.

Unlike many RPGs that gate your power behind experience points, Wizard of Legend gates your success behind your own mechanical skill. The game features over 100 unique spells, known as Arcana, which are categorized into five basic elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Lightning) and the rare, powerful Chaos Arcana.²

The depth of the game lies in its customization. Before every run, you choose a starting loadout consisting of a Basic attack, a Dash, a Standard spell, and a Signature spell.
