60 Parsecs!: Scavenge, Survive, Soup (and Sanity)

60 Parsecs! is a dark comedy, sci-fi survival adventure that throws you straight into the chaos of the Atomic Space Age ending. Earth has gone nuclear, and your space station is next. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is broken into two frantic parts.

The 60-Second Rush

The game starts with a 60-second frenzy. You must sprint through the station, grab as many essential supplies (like the all-important soup) and woefully unprepared crewmates as you can, and make a mad dash for the emergency shuttle. This initial scramble is a chaotic, trial-and-error challenge that sets the tone for your entire run.

The Galactic Grind

Once in the black void of space, the game transitions into a resource management simulator. As the Captain, your primary duty is to keep your small crew of quirky astronauts alive and (relatively) sane.

  • Daily Dilemmas: Each day presents a text-based scenario—from equipment breaking to alien encounters—forcing you to make tough, often absurd, choices with limited resources. Do you use the duct tape to fix the comms or to repair a hole in the hull?
  • Crew and Crafting: You manage your crew's hunger, health, and morale. Keeping relationships stable is key, as happy crewmates are less likely to stage a mutiny. You can also craft essential items using scavenged components.
  • Exploration: The ultimate goal is to find a new home. You'll send crew members on dangerous expeditions to planets like Mootopia or Robotofu, which lead to diverse, branching storylines and one of 21 possible endings.

60 Parsecs! excels by blending genuine desperation with hilarious, Douglas Adams-esque absurdity. It’s a compelling game built on quick, replayable runs where luck and smart rationing of your limited soup supply are equally vital to survival.
